Hi, my name is Dixie and they think I was born around February 1, 2013. I am a fine example of a spunky beagle mix who weighs in around 20 pounds. I am a very energetic and outgoing small dog with quite a big heart and attitude. I am great with other dogs and children and even cats. I love to meet other dogs and am extremely social. My favorite game is “I am the fastest dog around” so I dream of a yard with a good fence to play in. I try to play fetch and I am learning from my big brother. I am house trained and crate trained. When I am told to “kennel up” I do without any issues. I am an indoor dog, so it would not be fair for me to be stuck outside without my family. I am looking for the perfect home that has a fenced yard and lots of love to give.
This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review. You can find this on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
