STARKEY is a well-socialized and happy Mastiff mix, who came in as a stray with his neutered buddy, CECIL. He was wearing a red collar, much too large for him, as well as a flea collar. STARKEY appears to be about 10 months old, and has some growing left to do. He is a good boy to take out on a leash and is an easy-walker. He needs a little help getting back in his kennel run, in the form of a big boost! He loves being a lap dog so much that we just don't have the heart to tell him he is not the first thing one thinks of when they think of a lap dog.
Dogs and puppies who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases.
