We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Lyric is with us because her human mom is very ill (stroke) and can no longer care for her. Lyric is a cutie pie!! Love the Shar Pei ears and toenails!! She is 10 months old. She was used as the subject for a training class for the volunteers and impressed everyone at how quickly she learns and is very responsive to positive reinforcement. She shows so much better outside of her kennel so please take the time to meet her and take her outside to really get to know her true personality. Dogs and puppies who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases.
