COAL is a purebred black lab about a year old. He made his way to the home of his owner's neighbor and she was told she could keep him. Because he is not fond of the dog in residence, he is now looking for a better match where he can live forever. The big plus for COAL is that he is neutered! What else can we tell you to convince you he is special? Contact us here; we ask any prospective adopters to apply at www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org Dogs and puppies who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review.
