We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Ethel came in as a stray with her brother, Fred. She is an adorable basset/lab mix, about 1 year old and is so much fun to watch while chasing her brother out in the play yard. They run as fast as their little short legs will take them! Ethel is great with kids and other dogs too. They both have become favorites of the volunteers! Dogs and puppies who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases.
