We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

JULIET continues to be the most playful, happy, and yet needy dog at the pound right now. Her age (seven to eight months) and breed mix (best guess is Australian shepherd/pitty) mean she needs daily exercise as well as mental stimulation. JULIET loves getting out and herding other dogs! She tries so hard to get others to play with her--sometimes they will, but not always. Juliet knows all about body language, and she has the best social skills with other dogs. She is very friendly and loves the attention of adults and kids alike. It's worth a trip to the shelter just to check out her beautiful blue eyes! Dogs and puppies who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases.
