Savannah is a two year old, short-legged gal who came in scared to death! She is doing well in her new foster home and has done excellent with both the foster puppies and resident adult dogs who live there. She has just been spayed and is ready for adoption immediately. If you are looking for a sweet, young, female beagle, she is the one for you! Dogs and puppies who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review.
