Madison was rescued from the middle of the road on the coldest night of the year!! She is about 1 year old and weighs 40 pounds. She is living with the person who found her, until her owner can be found, after spending the requisite holding time as a stray in the appropriate county facility in Farmville. Her rescuers decided to keep her with them because they were concerned she would not be adopted because of her plain brown wrapping. She is a wonderful girl and is working hard on her housetraining skills. She is very appreciative of the folks who have saved her! If not reclaimed, she will be available for adoption.
This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review. You can find this on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
