LOLA is a setter mix who was taken in along with her three surviving puppies. The pups have been taken to a foster home for loving and care, and LOLA is safe with us at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. She is about two years old, and gets along super well with other dogs. Her life for the past several months has been on a chain, so we want her to have a life with a family where she can be a house pet and have a fenced yard in which to play. LOLA weighs about 34 pounds, and should grow no larger. Meet her at the facility.
Dogs and puppies at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly only to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases.

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
