We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

TOBY came into our care as a slightly chunky boy who really would love to get out to play and run non-stop. He 's not had the opportunity to play much with other dogs, but is getting that chance now in his new foster home. He loves humans of all sizes, and is really attracted to older kids. He is learning not to jump on people and to be polite with other dogs. His mother was a purebred German Shepherd, but we're not sure about daddy. Lab, perhaps? He's about 70 pounds, but we'd like to see him drop at least 10 of those. Interested? He's perfect! UPDATE from Foster Mom 4/16/15: TOBY is handling the major changes in his life with great aplomb. He's never been in a home with other dogs or cats or birds, so plunging into a chaotic mass of confusion with five other dogs, plus a litter of seven puppies, is pretty exciting. He's also not had the opportunity to be a housedog, and that is what he really wants. He loves humans! He is neutered, crate trained, and even microchipped. What a sweet three-year-old boy!
