We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Scruffy was brought in as a stray by a nice citizen who found her at the dumpsters in Hurt, VA. She is about 5 months old and looks to be a Terrier/Shih Tzu mix and just plain adorable! Great with kids, other dogs and loves everyone she meets. Dogs and puppies at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly only to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases.
