4/19/14 Transferred to rescue. Cute little Schipperke mix SKIPPY was rescued from the middle of Browns Mill Road by a concerned citizen. SKIPPY is 10 months to a year old, weighs 20 pounds, and is active and sweet! He is good with other dogs and adores kids. He is obviously just misplaced and would love to get back home! Dogs and puppies at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly only to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases.
