5/17/14 Transferred to rescue! Roman came in as a stray. He has the most gorgeous blue eyes and is very friendly. He plays well with other large dogs his size, but tends to be a bit too rough with smaller ones. He was scheduled to go to rescue but was found to be hw positive so now has to stay with us awhile longer. Please help this guy get out of the shelter while he undergoes hw treatment. Dogs and puppies at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly only to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases.
