Jack Russell Terrier : : Female : : Senior : : Small Learn more about the Jack Russell Terrier.
Put aside anything you've thought about a senior dog, and meet SPICE! She was named by her mommy because she looked as if a shaker of cinnamon had been spilled on her, giving her a "ticked" appearance. I wasn't sure what I'd be taking on when I considered fostering, but it's been a great experience! She does like to go, go go, even at 10 years old, but she has a chill side, too, and enjoys snuggling time in the evenings with me. She is spayed, mostly housetrained, and is getting better in that regard. She is adjusting to a life without her family, adapting to a foster home, and doing very well.
This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review. You can find this on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
Specific questions are most easily answered by email, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org, or by leaving a voicemail for one of our volunteers at 434-485-6242.
