Chinese Shar-Pei / Labrador Retriever / Mixed : : Female : : Young : : Large Learn more about the Chinese Shar-Pei. Learn more about the Labrador Retriever.
Mary Kate came in as a stray with her sister, Ashley. They are adorable female Shar Pei/Lab mixes, about 8 months old, who love to play. Their personalities won over the volunteers and we have already grown so fond of them in just the short time they have been here. We doubt they have been on a leash before but they picked it up quickly when it was time to go outside in the sunshine. Mary Kate is super friendly and gets along with all other dogs. She is a happy, happy girl who will need a permanent home if not reclaimed soon.
The policy for adopting an unsterilized pet requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the pet must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens or puppies too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.
For information on adopting this animal who is in care at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility, please call there: 434.821-4416. Hours are from 12 to 5 on weekdays and 11 to 4 on Saturday. Email us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
