Xena is a gorgeous girl who is 3 years old and weighs about 40 pounds. She is safe in foster care but feel free to get your application in soon for this girl. Rescued by a neighbor who recognized she needed more TLC that what she was given, she is about three years old, spayed. She's not had an opportunity to live inside the house, but we know she would love it. Safe with the foster rescuer, we are hoping to find her a place where she can run safely and be a happy best friend. Great with kids and other dogs. UPDATE 5/30/14: What a great life this gal has come to know! XENA is so happy to be allowed to be an indoor, carpet-loving, bed-hogging foster dog! She is three years old, spayed, apparently housetrained, and apparently great with livestock. For three years, she's waited for the chance to be loved by a family and not just a piece of fur on four legs! She is so beautiful!! This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review. Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
