Beagle : : Female : : Young : : Small
Stray to the facility today (6/11/14) was DIXIE. This 6-8 month old beagle girl is darling!!! She LOVES people and so gentle with kids. She had a deticking bath this afternoon. Poor girl had so many ticks in her ears and on her belly! She was a brave little girl and allowed us to pick as many ticks as we could off of her.
The policy for adopting an unsterilized pet requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the pet must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens or puppies too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.
For information on adopting this animal who is in care at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility, please call there: 434.821-4416. Hours are from 12 to 5 on weekdays and 11 to 4 on Saturday. Email us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
