About Toro

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: White
  • Housetrained: Yes
TORO!! Not the bull at all, and very gentle to everyone he meets! Toro is an owner give up--no idea why his famlly turned him over to Animal Control, but we are happy to help him find a new home! Cats on the larger size are not at all happy in a cage, but TORO is handling his time well, spending time looking down over his domain and checking out everything. He gets along so well with other cats, as well as humans, and he seems to tolerate dogs as well. Come to the CCAC facility to meet and adopt! To adopt this cat, please contact the Campbell County Animal Control Facility at 434-821-4416, or email us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Applications are required to adopt. Go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org The policy for adoption requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this. To see more animals available for adoption, please check out our Current Dandy Dogs and Cats Available For Adoption at this link: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.276829965699846.57463.251406534908856&type=3

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
