About Princess

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Fawn
  • Housetrained: Yes
New to the CCAC facility, but already safely in a foster home, was PRINCESS, a perfect little seven pound three-year old chihuahua girl! She is perfect in every way! Adores being held, and offended when she was left alone in a big old kennel run! Thanks to our foster coordinator for getting her out immediately! All she needs is a crown and she can be a Queen! (She is not fond of young children, so a home with only older kids is required.) Contact us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review. You can find this on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Specific questions are most easily answered by email, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org, or by leaving a voicemail for one of our volunteers at 434-485-6242. APPLICATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO ADOPT. Go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org The policy for adopting an unsterilized pet requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the pet must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens or puppies too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.
