Meet ENZO! He is eight years old, not yet neutered, housetrained, and fine with BIG dogs. Please consider him for a home or a foster. His family chose him from e-Harmony to be a companion to their female, only she didn't want a companion! So now he is in a foster home waiting for someone else to be his perfect match. It may be YOU! UPDATE 9/25/14: ENZO is headed for a neuter this evening, and will be cleared for adoption on Saturday! If he is a Maltese that you are attracted to, try to see past his orange color and imagine him sparkling white, like he was for an hour before coming to this foster home to play! ENZO is eight years old, and is happy, happy, happy to play and to be snuggled. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review. You can find this on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org The policy for adopting an unsterilized pet requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the pet must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens or puppies too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this. Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
