About Tab

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White)
Transferred to rescue! Meet Tab! He is a very friendly beagle boy who has handsome markings with the cutest brown spot on top of his head that is a perfect bulls eye for kisses! He is great on a leash and wonderful with other dogs, very gentle with kids and everyone he meets. A volunteer favorite. UPDATE 1/13/14: Poor Tab. He was adopted out and lived with a family for quite a few months but was returned because "the kids" didn't take care of him. He came back emaciated and is happy to find lots of food and water and most of all attention. He went immediately into foster care and he will be ready when you are to adopt! Please fill out an application today. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review. You can find this on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Specific questions are most easily answered by email, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org, or by leaving a voicemail for one of our volunteers at 434-485-6242. APPLICATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO ADOPT. Go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org The policy for adopting an unsterilized pet requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the pet must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens or puppies too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this. Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
