We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Meet Annabel! An adorable chiweenie who came in with her buddy, JJ. She is one year old, very friendly once she warms up to you and is good with other dogs. She is safe in foster care but would really love a home of her own. She is great with kids, we've discovered and is completely housetrained. Her spay and updates for vetting will be done soon. Please fill out an application today! This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review. You can find this on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org The policy for adopting an unsterilized pet requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the pet must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens or puppies too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.
