10 to 12 week old, the PURRING PURRSIANS are perfect for kids! They are laid back, want only to be loved and held, and are ready to roll into your home. There is absolutely no reason to leave these kittens behind in the shelter when you know you want one or two to come home with you!

The policy for adoption requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age.
If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
