BUDDY! What a great name for a great dog! He is currently in a a foster home where he is fine with some of the other dogs and does well with humans. He is housetrained and crate trained too. He is already neutered, and weighs about 33 pounds! Delightful boy!! Three years old. Sadly, he tested slight positive for heartworm disease and has already been started on heartworm treatment. The first dose of treatment was injected on Monday, December 22, and the last treatment will be injected exactly one month later. Buddy must remain quiet and not run or get excited for the next four weeks. UPDATE 1/20/15: BUDDY has waited with anticipation for his final heartworm treatment so he can go out to play like a normal dog. BUDDY has been on crate rest for the past 3-1/2 weeks and is getting tired of it! Well, big guy, you are FREE, free to run again. Enjoy and hopefully a family will adopt you soon so you can continue to live a long and healthy life with them. A COMPLETED APPLICATION IS REQUIRED TO ADOPT.
