Turbo loves getting attention and playing with his sister. They will soon be spayed/neutered but are available immediately for adoption. Because they have been in foster care (but now are back at the shelter) they are well socialized and happy to be around other cats. Turbo is very laid back and "chill". UPDATE 1/28/15: Turbo's sister, Mika, was adopted yesterday, and he is very lonely and really would love to get a home of his own too. Long-timer TURBO, a seven month old tabby, is well socialized and more than ready for a home where he can be an active buddy to kids or adults! Please come meet him today! The policy for adoption requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this. Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
