About Emily (aka Miss Em): Fostered

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Black
  • Housetrained: Yes

Miss Emily (or Miss Em for short) is a 4-5 years old and as sweet as they come. She loves her two roommates at her foster home (min pin mix and retriever mix) but her true love: HUMANS. Miss Em adores humans of all sizes and lives for ear rubs, short walks around the neighborhood, and friday nights on the couch. Miss Em is in a foster home and is house trained and crate trained. We don't know what Miss Em is mixed with, but our best guess is husky/ beagle mix, making for quite an interesting breed. Lucky for her, she has all the good characteristics of both dogs :) She is prone to yeast infections in her ears, so she will need weekly ear cleanings (and while they certainly are not her favorite things to do, she tolerates them just fine). Miss Em is an absolutely wonderful dog- a true companion dog- and will do best in a home that is looking for a family dog to lots of love and companionship. She is sensitive to the heat, so summertime is a bit hard for her. She kindly requests air conditioning and an outdoor kiddy pool :) In all seriousness, whoever adopts Miss Em will be adopting a true gem. She is loyal, sweet-natured, affectionate and loving. Great dog!
