Friends of Campbell County Animal Control

Located in Campbell County, Virginia. Please begin with an application, found here: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. We place calls to your vet, your landlord, and your personal reference. We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

DORIE is a one to two year old American Eskimo (aka Spitz) mix, in a foster home with other dogs, cats, and an older child. She is working on her crate training and housetraining skills and is also learning basic "family dog" type training, so she can be integrated more easily into the household. She is about 25 pounds, and a fluffy black sweetie! She has fun playing with bigger dogs who are nice to her. Her foster tells us that she bonds easily and then becomes protective, so she will need a patient family to help her realize that it's okay to welcome new people into the home. 

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
