Sweet Penny is looking for a new best friend! This 11-year-old boxer mix is a gem – intelligent, housetrained, and cratetrained. She's spayed, fantastic with kids, cats, dogs, and even chickens! She knows sit, lay down, and paw, and loves cuddling on the couch or bed. Don't let her age fool you – she's got energy and wants to play! Just a heads up, she can be a bit skittish around guys at first, but warms up quick. Her preference is to have a canine buddy in the home to keep her company. Penny's human is facing health challenges and needs to find her a loving home where she'll get the care she deserves. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Penny's your girl! Please fill out an application and we'll forward to her family to review. https://www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org/forms/form?formid=3709
"My Home to Yours"
We have had numerous requests from citizens in our county to help them rehome their pets, but they are willing to keep them in the home until it happens, rather than bring them to the overflowing shelter at Campbell County Animal Control near Yellow Branch. We are listing those cats and dogs on our website as "My Home to Yours." We ask that interested adopters fill out the FOAC application, and we will pass it along to the family wanting to rehome. We cannot guarantee health, temperament, or behavior for these pets, as we have not met them. However, we are happy to act as a resource for issues that may arise. **For pets not spayed or neutered, we are happy to help set that up!
