Sweet Rusty is one of the cutest and most submissive dogs we have, and we thought we would have no trouble finding him a home. When he was diagnosed with heartworm, however, we wanted to treat him first so he would be able to play and fit nicely into a home. He is fortunate to have been selected for foster care by one of our devoted, foster families, and she has determined to see him through his treatment. He is the handsomest beagle mix you can imagine, about 35 pounds, and a real love with other dogs. He is also excellent with kids and ignores the cats he sees. He's doing well at his foster home but would love a home of his own.
