CADIE, whose foster mom calls her “Mulligan,”  was found two weeks ago with a bandage wrapped around her front leg, and grown into the wound. It was badly infected, and she lost feeling and blood flow to her foot, which is basically non-functional right now. She is still able to run and play and has no trouble climbing, and assessment done by the vet office where she’s been boarding for several days waiting to see what we needed to do. The decision to allow her to keep her foot rather than perform an amputation makes us happy! Cadie “Mulligan” is about 12 weeks old, and is now in a foster home. She is available for adoption. At some point later in her life, if her leg bothers her, she may need an amputation, but for now she gets along just fine. Please start with an application to adopt.
