Oden: We call him a sweet old hound mix but Google assures us he’s a “Treeing Tennessee Brindle Hound,” aka a smart, loyal, all-around good boy that was bred to help on the farm, track in the woods, and stick by your side no matter what. These dogs are brave, focused, and full of heart.

He was originally from South Carolina, we discovered from his original adopter, nut was handed over to “someone” to be a farm dog—but sadly, that’s not where he was found. He deserves better! He’s ready for a real forever home where he can be safe, active, and loved.

Oden is neutered, housetrained, microchipped, and updated with vaccines. he was really fascinated by the children playing at the school across the way today, and was also very interested in the cat running from one place to another. We don’t know how he would be with Cats. So right now we’ll just say he is interested.

He loves other dogs. He is the only dog in the shelter that doesn't bark. Oden is looking for an active, loving home where he can be your adventure buddy and your couch companion. He is available now at the Campbell County Animal Shelter. Apply to adopt at www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org
