Beagle (short coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Medium
Anne and her companion Schooner appear to be a family pair, possibly daddy-daughter. They do not want to be parted from each other and when volunteers arrive for dog-walking, want to go out for their potty breaks together. The two were brought to the shelter after being found near Leesville Lake, very near Bedford County. They are social, very healthy, and appear to be pets rather than beagles who want to go hunting. They do love to use their beagle noses to check out new smells. Anne Roappears to be one or two years old, while Schooner may be closer to three or four.
