Things can change for shelter dogs really fast. Bella had been at the shelter for a few days, but she was so scared, she wouldn't risk interacting with anyone. She sat in the corner, shaking and barking out of fear. We knew she wanted to go outside. Everybody wants to go outside! So we dropped a slip lead around her neck and invited her to go for a walk and immediately her guard was down, and she enjoyed walking outside.

Today, things got better and better! Even though the shelter was technically closed, Bella had a ball in the office and made sure things kept running smoothly—especially when it came to keeping the volunteers in line! This girl has personality for days. She’s fun, vibrant, and full of life. Whether she’s bouncing around looking for a squeaky toy or giving you that “let’s go do something!” look, Bella brings energy and joy wherever she goes. We can’t wait for her to find a family who will love her for the smart, spunky, silly pup she is.

Because let’s be real—every good team needs a Bella.
