Green Eyes has recovered beautifully from her traumatic beginning when she was found as an eight-week-old with a gaping wound on her neck. (Advanced infection from bot fly larvae made her pretty ill, and required veterinary intervention and month-long treatment.)  Green Eyes loves her foster home with other cats and kittens, and is fond of the cat-friendly dog who lives there as well. Green Eyes is showing some long lasting effects from the deep wound on her neck; her “meow” is a tiny little squeak, as if she is hoarse from a sore throat. as she has recovered, she has some pretty little white hairs that have grown in around the wound area, and that’s really the only way you would even know she has been through some rough times. she is a charmer, playful, active, and very lovable! We would love for you to meet her.
