Beautiful, submissive to humans, retiring from her duties as a breeder who failed to ever produce pups—we have little knowledge of Elka’s past, so are moving forward with her story, so she can find the best life possible! She loves her companion Finn, and he relies on her for cues for behavior and exploring new smells and places.  We know that Elka is a people-lover, open to handling, and she throws herself on her back when approached for attention. Her submissive attitude ends there, however, and she is pushy and bossy with the dogs she meets. we would not recommend her for a home where there are female dogs, as she has not tested well with females. Male dogs seem to be her thing as long as they don’t care if she is the boss. She probably would be absolutely fine as the only dog in the home.
