Meet Whiskey, a 3.5-year-old, 45 lb neutered Husky with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s housetrained, great with children, and plays well with other dogs. Whiskey is being rehomed due to housing changes, and while he’d love to stay with his big brother Bear, he’s ready to thrive in a loving home—solo or together.

We have had numerous requests from citizens in our county to help them rehome their pets, but they are willing to keep them in the home until it happens, rather than bring them to the overflowing shelter at Campbell County Animal Control near Yellow Branch.

We are listing those cats and dogs on our website as "My Home to Yours." We ask that interested adopters fill out the FOAC application, and we will pass it along to the family wanting to rehome. We cannot guarantee health, temperament, or behavior for these pets, as we have not met them. However, we are happy to act as a resource for issues that may arise.

For pets not spayed or neutered, we are happy to help set that up!

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
