Serendipity is nine years old. She is a spayed cat, whose world was apparently turned upside down when her male owner married. we don’t know what else changed in the household, whether there were new cats coming in, a dog, a move in the works, we just don’t know. Serendipity began urinating in inappropriate places. Serendipity was signed over to the shelter two days ago. She has not used her litter box since, and is not eating or drinking. She wants to leave.

We were able to get vet records for her and discovered she’s been treated at least two times, maybe three, for UTIs. It is always a concern when cats do not use the litter box at the shelter. But with this history, we are very concerned about her health.

We are looking for someone who would be willing to foster her to see if we can move through this, or find her a home where there will not be changes, and see if we can get her on the road to good health. When she first came in Serendipity was very sweet and gentle, but because she is not feeling good, she has become nippy and grumpy.

Can you help?
