Aria is a beautiful, friendly 3 year old who is already spayed, housetrained and has lived with children. She was returned to our care after an incident involving a neighbor child resulting in a finger wound in a tussle over a bone she was working on. Aria was assessed by one of our volunteers who is a behaviorist, and who has said Aria should have no problems living in a home where the family is knowledgeable about hounds, and will manage an issues as they arise. She was unable to elicit the behavior that had been reported, so we feel comfortable placing Aria with older children who will pay attention to her cues. Aria went on an extended play date this week, and we hope she will be so loved that she won't come back to us!
