This is “Lily Cupcake” surrendered today due to her family’s housing issues. She is still in shellshock and was clearly not expecting to have to wait to go out to potty at the convenience of the lone volunteer. And from this day on until she leaves the pound, she will either need to potty in her kennel run, which many housetrained dogs find abhorrent and repulsive, or hold it for the once-a-day walk outside. (Did you think that dogs got walked multiple times daily? Sorry—it doesn’t work that way.)

Lily Cupcake is spayed, lived with other dogs and children. She knew about walking on a leash. She is stressed but we hope she can adapt.
