Check out this love! We are calling him Forrest, since his girlfriend Jenny made a lasting impression on him recently. Forrest came into our care as a stray, and recently was treated to a rabies shot so that he could successfully be handled and treated to outings if anyone wants to take him on a great adventure. We’re pretty sure Forrest was a successful hunter, because in addition to those long legs and energy he has a propensity for alerting when he sees something exciting. That particular prey was a cat in a carrier that he spied. He told us about it for several minutes afterwards, letting us know that he knows about critters, and he was willing to share! If he is your missing hound dog, you certainly lost a quality companion! He is now Campbell county property, and we would love for you to come and visit him. His adoption fee is sponsored with an approved application. Call the shelter at 434-821-4416, or if you’d like to adopt, start with an application application from our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
