Sam is a young male German Shepherd (18mo - 2yrs) who was recently relinquished by his owner who had fallen on hard times.

He takes a bit to warm up to most people (a common trait of the breed in general), but once he knows you he's a happy go lucky and playful puppy.

His exuberance would make it difficult to be around small children unless his new owners were knowledgeable with the breed and followed through on positive training.

As such, any approved local adopter who mentions where they see this ad will receive a 1 hour training session with Tiffany Willey of K9 Adventure Camp in Amherst, VA to be redeemed within 6mo of adoption.

Sam is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, flea and tick treatment, and HW medication.
