Sheba is an 11-month old Norwegian Elkhound mix. She is not handling the “camp” environment of the shelter well at all; there is continual barking, activity, and changes at all times. It is distressing to dogs that have not been socialized with other dogs or strangers. Sheba has already become reactive and upset at any slight change, and is taking it out on her kennel mate. In a perfect world, dogs could be housed individually, but times are tough and we have no space to separate Sheba and Wednesday! Are you into Elkhounds? Consider 11-month-old Sheba!
