Milo
If you’re looking for a loyal companion, someone to walk with, watch tv, or play catch in the yard/park - adopt Milo.

He is the sweetest, most affectionate hound!

When Presley crooned “You ain’t nothing but a hound dog,” he wasn’t singing about Milo: our boy is too happy for cryin’ and he’s definitely high class! Milo, a ten month-old Treeing Walker Coonhound mix, is high energy, and focused. He appears friendly with other dogs and doesn't appear interested in our resident cats. He is very happy to spend time with the volunteers. He is confident on leash, but he is strong, so his walker must be ready for those moments when Milo spots a groundhog who needs chasing up a tree. Milo will need a family committed to his training (and entertainment!) and to his safety: a fenced yard is a must. If this boy sounds like he might be the friend you’re looking for, start with an application from our website.

PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com.
