CoCo: This girl is three years old, spayed, housetrained and has been waiting too long for that home that needs her. She appears to be a flat-coated collie mix, has shown exemplary social skills with other dogs (and she gets a LOT of practice daily, since the current pack of dogs in her foster home is fairly impressive!) CoCo is housetrained! We felt she spend the first three years of her life tied out, because she ran circles around us whenever we took her out on leash, But she knew all about houses (or at least, picked it up quickly!) and is a perfect houseguest. She LOVES having a crate where she can retreat to get away from the activity when she is ready. Great playmate for another active dog, but would be absolutely fine as an only, as long as her new humans allow her to expend her energy. Check her out and see what you think! To get a clearer picture of CoCo’s charming personality, one of our volunteers gave her a “farm break” on Saturday. We had quite a different view of this beauty thanks to Michelle’s astute observations! Here’s what she noted: “What a sweet girl. She jumped in vehicle no problem. She loves attention and is affectionate/excitable. She had the zoomies which was perfect for our fenced in yard. We discovered she likes having a job and is a herder....she herded cows on the other side of the fence.....what a beautiful sight to watch!!! (if only I would have thought to video her). She would be perfect for a farm. She was great with my dogs. She got alot of energy out in the yard, and on the drive back to the shelter, she curled up in the seat for a nap. She will "sit" for a treat and takes the treat gently.” Three years old, smooth-coat collie? spayed, and available! Loves children, great with other dogs.Coco is a beautiful, sweet girl with a lovely, silky coat. She loves human attention. She is the perfect size to go on walks or hikes and then come home and hang out on the sofa with her family. She is a 55- pound Collie mix and three years old. The new volunteers tell us she walks beautifully on a leash! And she does get the zoomies every now and then as well. You can’t go wrong with Coco! FULLY SPONSORED for rescue OR adoption~!
