Update: Come visit the shelter today! Suna is one of the beautiful dogs looking for a home. she is about eight months old, and was lucky enough to get to visit in a home for the past few days for a little vacation away from the shelter. Her foster mom said she loves having company, and fit in perfectly with the other two dogs in the household. She played hard, and slept hard! She is a typical young dog, loving human attention, chewing on anything yummy, but taking correction well. she is spayed, current with her vaccines, micro chipped, and happy to do as she is asked! We don't know what her breed mix is, so we are guessing retriever, because she is cute, and black and could be just about anything! Suna arrived at the shelter as a stray, with a nasty-smelling skin condition that smelled yeasty and gave her a most unpleasant air. Now, however, she is looking great, thanks to decent food, a bath from one of our best volunteer bathers, AND regular vet care. Don't ever skimp on vet care, folks! Preventive care doesn't have to cost you a fortune, but can help your dog smell good all the time! Last week, our Suna was spayed, and she is now ready to rock and roll into a new home!
