Aria loves other dogs and has excellent social skills. She would love nothing more than to be a lapdog. She loves sniffing around outside when not on your lap and is working hard on good manners. While some people think hounds are the bees knees, other people don’t necessarily understand them. We have discovered that Plott hound lovers are a unique bunch, and love their Plott hounds more than any other. Plott hounds are the state dog for North Carolina! While their breed is intended to primarily be for bear hunting, there is no way we would ever consider letting this beautiful girl, Aria, go hunting bear! She is an intense sniffer, can follow a scent on the ground, but not so much in the air. A recent visitor left all kinds of good odors for our dogs to check out when he stopped by with composting cow manure that got all the dogs excited. They love visiting the spot where he parked and wish he would come back with the actual materials for them to enjoy. Aria is eight months, old, spayed , and loves other dogs. She was a wonderful playmate for our dog LITTLE MAN up until she had surgery and now she has to take a few days off to recover. She was a favorite of two of our college aged volunteers, and I know she misses them. We are trying to give her quality time, but nothing is as good as what you had before when it involves your favorite volunteers.
