Sweet little Claire arrived as a stray from the rural portions of Campbell County. She was in the company of another adorable little girl beagle, and we have them both safely in our care now in a foster home. The girls love being pets and have no dreams of hunting rabbits again!  Claire is housetrained and uses the doggy door, along with her foster brothers and sisters, and she also is totally carefree about the cats in the home! She is a snuggly wuggly little girl who just wants a lap to lay on! Is there room in your heart and your lap for her?  We plan to have her visit a vet soon, as she favors her rear end, and has a nasty almost-healed injury to her tail, indicative of a previous injury. The stories little stray dogs could tell us if they could talk!  Maybe you would like to help Claire get through her past trauma, and help her heal?
