Dixie Kitty is an eight year old whose origin was from a feral cat colony. She has been with one sweet human lady all this time, living as a solitary feline with no other pets other than a chihuahua who is no longer there. We are told that Dixie Kitty is very shy, and rarely comes out of hiding for attention. Her human is no longer caring for her, due to the human’s illness, and Dixie Kitty has lived alone in the home for several months. Dixie Kitty is not in our care and is not at the shelter. If you can offer her a quiet home and patiently give her time to transition to a new life, her mom’s family would be very grateful. (We have suggested Dixie can come to our shelter if needed, but hope she can be rehomed without that step.)
