Tabor, 1-1/2 years old. Naughty, irascible, sneaky. He is also cute. Fluffy. Cuddly. Fence jumper. Kennel-break-outs are his thing. Why does he have to be so doggone ADORABLE?! No fences for him—he can scale them in 30 seconds. Don’t offer an invisible fence as your cure-all. He will bust right through it.
Neutered, microchipped, and unfortunately, he is HW positive. (Can’t believe a skeeter could pin him down long enough to bite him!) We want to treat him for his heartworms but he won’t hold still long enough, and you know that during heartworm treatment, dogs must be quiet to avoid problems with the heartworms causing embolisms as they die off. He has started his 30 days of doxycycline pre-treatment, Guessing he is a good candidate for the monthly topical, since we don't want to risk the other kind. He would love to be housetrained, is devoted to humans, and is happy to be friends with other nice dogs!
