Update 1/24 - Nothing beats one on one love and attention! Mocha was invited to spend some time in a foster home where she gets to go back and forth to work with her foster mom. Mocha’s adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous FOAC supporter! Mocha is spayed, absolutely wonderful with other dogs, and gentle with humans of all ages. If you stop by Security Storage on Wards Road and Hyland Drive, you might get a chance to say “hi!” to her while she waits for a new home. - - - Mocha: one of our available pets looking for a home. Mocha is about 60 pounds, housetrained, and great with other dogs! She is 4 to 5 years old, and has the most expressive face ever! Her cross eyed appearance is so appealing! Mocha has a lovely blue brindle coat,and still needs to be spayed. So gorgeous! Mocha was very upset when she was brought to the shelter, but was comforted by her two canine sisters who also were signed over to the shelter. we discovered that their human mother passed away a year ago, and the family just felt it was time for them to have a new life. We have not seen behavior issues of any kind at the shelter other than them being slightly needy as far as wanting attention and comfort. Currently, Mocha is housed in the same kennel run as her sister Butterscotch, and it seems to be comforting to both of them. However we know that they will most likely not be adopted together and we feel they will both be fine if separated. Available for adoption by approved application from friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
